Wooooooweeeeeeeee in case you haven't heard, the Detroit Lions just traded a 6th round pick for DE Everson Griffen from the Dallas Cowboys. Let's go! What's the one thing every Lions fan on earth bitched about all off-season? It was the god forsaken pass rush, and outside the last week or two, it's been dog shit most of this year too. Lions fans everywhere should be counting their lucky stars that Bob Quinn and Patricia know their asses are in the jackpot and are having their stupid rocket scientist hands forced to pick up some pass rush help. For those who somehow may not know, Everson has torched the Lions as a member of the Vikings for pretty much his entire career and has 2.5 sacks through 7 games as a member of the 'Boys. He'll take some pressure off Flowers and Okwara and, maybe, just maybe will record a few sacks in the Honolulu blue while he's at it. And the best part about all of this might be the part about how that relic of history Jerry Jones gave him to us for free! Somebody tell Jerry Christmas isnt for another couple months, but us Detroiters will take this gift in good faith. I mean shit, you could literally pick up any guy off the street, throw him in some pads, and call him a sixth rounder and I could predict right now where he'll be in year.
